The following rule proposals are scheduled for publication in the New Jersey Register (Register) on the proposed dates listed below. The official version published in the Register can be viewed at http://www.lexisnexis.com/hottopics/njoal/.

Interested persons may submit comments online by sending an email to NJDOTRules@dot.nj.gov or through regular mail concerning any rule proposal until the deadline indicated.Comments sent by regular mail should be addressed to the administrative practice officer identified in the proposal.


The New Jersey Department of Transportation (Department) allows a minimum of 60 days for comments on its rule proposals. Extensions of comment periods will be noted in the heading of the proposal or in a subsequent notice in the New Jersey Register.

After the close of the public comment period, the Department may adopt the proposal with or without changes. A rule becomes effective when the notice of adoption is published in the New Jersey Register.
